Influenza & COVID-19 vaccines

In an effort to make both the Influenza and Bivalent COVID-19 vaccines easily accessible to our busy staff, we have combined our on-site staff influenza clinic this year with an on-site Bivalent clinic.

PLEASE NOTE: These are TWO different vaccinations. You may choose to get them one at a time or they can be safely co-administered if you are eligible for the Bivalent vaccine.

Bivalent and Flu vaccines available in Occupational Health (Armstrong 1) at KGH:

November 2, 3, 4: 7 – 8 AM, 1230 – 130 PM

Starting November 7: Monday – Friday, 7 – 830 AM, 12 – 130 PM

The travelling Flu and Bivalent vaccine cart is operating daily:

  • Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 3 PM

Beechgrove COVID-19 Assessment Centre continues to offer Bivalent vaccines Monday - Friday:

Important information regarding the Bivalent COVID-19 vaccination:

  • You must have completed a primary COVID-19 vaccine series: 2 doses (general population) or 3 doses (immunocompromised persons), to receive a bivalent booster.
  • If you have been ill with COVID-19, it is recommended that you wait 6 months, minimum 3 months (84 days), to allow for the best immune response before receiving a bivalent booster dose.
  • It is also recommended that you wait 6 months after your last COVID-19 vaccination before getting a bivalent booster dose, with a minimum interval of 84 days from your last dose.
