KHSC Wellness

Living well...
Working well

At KHSC, we believe that living a healthier and happier life is a good reason for staff to commit to wellness. We also understand that the health and well-being of our staff contributes to quality care, safety, and the experience that our patients and their families have while at KHSC. By promoting both physical and mental wellness in the workplace, and providing employees with a variety or resources and tools that encourage healthy eating, active living, stress management, and healthy lifestyle practices, our goal is to help employees achieve total wellness. What steps will you take today to take charge of your health and be the best you can be?

Despite the connection between mind and body, mental wellness often gets forgotten in our quest for healthy living. Explore the resources available to promote your mental wellness, learn more about the common mental health challenges, and find where you can reach out for help in the workplace and in the community.

In addition to physical activity, a nutritious diet, and healthy lifestyle choices, taking personal accountability for our health is essential in achieving wellness. Find out what tools, resources, and health promotion initiatives are available to help you take charge of your health today.

Spiritual wellness looks at health from a holistic lens. Spiritual wellness includes both our religious and non-religious set of beliefs that is intangible and it involves our values and personal practices that embody a sense of wholeness and peace from within.
